SEVENTH ON THE MOUNT OF TRANSFIGURATION WITH LORD JESUS

          Methodology on how to get into the inner circle of your office structure, Church or any other organization.

               And also, on how to get into oneness with the Lord Himself.

           On the Mount of Transfiguration were Jesus, Moses & Elijah, as well as Peter, John & James. Thus the total number was six. (Mathew 17:1-8).

          Since the complete number in the Bible is seven, there is place for one more person.

AND THAT PERSON IS YOU!!

          A leader spends the major amount of his time and effort on his innermost circle. Peter, John and James were not taken because they were in the core group. They were in the core group because they possessed certain characteristics.

 THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: The Omnipresent God was always present. (John 1: 1 onwards)

          He was there, watching over His people during the entire tumultuous period of the Old Testament.

MOSES: He represented the Law. He was there when Jesus needed him. The Lord used him to free His people from slavery and lead them to the Promised Land.

           Moses totally depended on Jesus, asking His advice at every stage (Numbers 9:6). And they developed a relationship.

ELIJAH: He represented the prophets. He brought the Israelites back to the Lord. (1Kings 18:14-46).

          Elijah’s achievement (similar to John the Baptist) was “…….to turn the hearts of their fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous……” (Mt17:9-13) (Mk9:9-13) (Lk. 1-17).

PETER, JOHN & JAMES: These three belonged to the core group of Jesus-because they were of one mind with the Lord.

          They made His life, their life. His ministry became their ministry. His very thoughts and purposes became their own.

         

        They were always with Him during His three and a half years of ministry, continuously learning open-mindedly, and being ministered to by Him, readying themselves for their own ministry, which was only a continuation of His own thoughts and purposes, which they continued after the death and resurrection of the Lord. They gave up everything for the Lord, and He in turn spent prime time with them.

          Paul in his letter to the Galatians praises them: “James, Peter and John, those reputed to be pillars……” (Gal. 2:9, 10).

REASON FOR THE TRANSFIGURATION MEET

          It was essentially a support group for Jesus just before His trial and crucifixion. It was a group of like minded people. If you want be in that group, think like them.

          YOU can be the seventh!

          How? EVANGELIZE!! EVANGELIZE!!

           Basically establish God’s Kingdom here on earth.
