The question: When I was very young, I asked my father, “Dad, what is it that God cannot do?”

          “Sin!” answered my dad. “God cannot sin!”

                           

        
       “No!” I countered. “It’s something God wished He could do, but cannot.” And then continued, “God cannot undo the past. If I dropped a cup, and it shattered, there was absolutely no way that such an act could be denied, or anything done to alter the fact as it has already taken place.”

          Can you imagine an Omnipresent, Omnipotent Omniscient God unable to undo the past?!

          Forgiveness of sins is essentially God undoing the past!!

          And in order to understand how He accomplishes this, we have to understand that man is ‘contained’ or limited in the three dimensional world of space-time, and God isn't. He is outside our dimension of time, because He is Omnipresent.

          Omnipresence not only means that He is everywhere at the same time. It also means that He is eternally present throughout time.

          Therefore when we repent, and He forgives us our sins, He essentially goes back in time and undoes the wrong we have done.

          It is as though we have never sinned in the first place!

 

 

          

Therefore the Lord says: “I, even I, am He Who blots out your transgressions……….and remembers your sin s no more.” (Isaiah 43: 25).

          “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” (Isaiah 1: 18).

          “Your sins will be wiped out.” (Acts 3: 19).

          As some man of God said: “When you repent and are forgiven by Lord Jesus, you become as pure as the Blessed Virgin Mary!”

TIME MACHINE? GOD AIN'T NEEDS NONE!

TIME MACHINE? GOD AIN’T NEEDS NONE!

          God definitely needs a time machine to do the things that need to be done, like knowing the future, in order to prophesy through His prophets, or pre-elect or pre-destine those He will grant salvation to, and travel back in time to wipe the slate clean of those He has forgiven!     Otherwise, without a time-machine, how else would He be able to travel through time?

  

A little boy’s dilemma: When I was a little boy I asked my father, “What is it that God cannot do?”

          “Sin!” my father replied.

          “No,” I countered. “God cannot undo or change the past!”

          But then, as I understood time, which I thought was ‘timeless,’ I realized that God can do exactly that. Because He is Omnipresent!

TIME: boxes us within its confining boundaries. But not God!

Therefore: “There was a ‘time,’ before the beginning of time, when there was no time. And there will be a ‘time,’ after the end of time, when there will be no time.”

              

Definitions of time space and matter:

 TIME: the unlimited continued progress of existence and events in the past, present and future regarded as a whole.

SPACE: the dimension of height, depth and width within which all things exist and move.

MATTER: physical substance or material (in physics) that which has space and has mass.

 God and time: God told Moses: “My name is: I AM.” (Exodus 3:14).

                God lives in the eternal present, outside our time bound limitations.

Beginning of time-space-matter:

                     

                ‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth’ (Genesis 1:1).

                This clearly shows that the earth, which comprises of space and matter, had a definite beginning.

                 “And God said, “let there be light,’’ and there was light. (Genesis1:3).

                As light moved forward, time began ticking.

Interesting facts about matter and time (light).

MATTER: In the distant past, there were various theories as to what supported the earth, but none correct.

                The Bible made no such error!

                 Job: ‘He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; He suspends the earth over nothing.’ (Job 26:7).

              How can Job, over 3000 years ago, possibly have known that the earth did not have a support, except by divine inspiration?

LIGHT: Job: ‘Where is the way where light dwells?’ (Job 38:19).

                How except by divine inspiration could Job have known that light does not dwelling a place, but a way? For light, as modern man has discovered, involves motion (wave motion). Travelling at approximately 186,000 miles a second, it can only dwell in a way.  (The Amplified Bible).

Lord Jesus exerts power over time-space-matter: He did this over and above the miracles He performed.

Lord Jesus transcends time and space!

                1) After the famous miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes and after Jesus walks on water, He gets into the boat and: ‘immediately they reached the shore toward which they had been slowly making their way’ (Jh.6:21). In a split second, He, the boat and the disciples were transported, ACROSS TIME AND SPACE, to reach the other shore!

                 There were two occasions when Jesus was surrounded by his enemies who wanted to kill Him. But he just walks through them. (John 8:59; 10:39).

                There are boundaries of time-space-matter which have been surmounted, by not only Jesus, but also by ordinary people, because He had said, when He was on earth, that we can do even greater deeds than which were accomplished by Him. So we have a definite promise.

Jesus’ disciple, Philip transcends time and space!

                Philip is between Jerusalem and Gaza, evangelizing to a eunuch in a chariot. But after he baptizes him he is transcended by God.  And in the next instant he finds himself in Azotus, several miles away. (Acts 8: 26-40).

                Therefore, in the article, ‘Power over time, space and matter,’ (in this blog) I have shown, with examples, how these boundaries can be surmounted by ordinary people, making us truly free and powerful.

BIOLOGICAL WARFARE IN THE BIBLE

          Germs or infection was used by God’s people, the Israelites, to destroy their enemies! They understood biological warfare!

          Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Dinah: She was Jacob’s daughter, and she was abducted and raped by Shechem, the son of the local ruler of the Hivites. The entire family was filled with grief and fury, but they had to bide their time.

          When the ruler approached them for the hand of Dinah in marriage, to the very lad who had raped her, they knew how to turn the situation to their advantage. They promised intermarriage between the two tribes, but first insisted that the ruler, his son as well as all the males of the tribe undergo circumcision, as was the custom of the Israelites, and they had to conform to it. Seeing the large amount of livestock, property and other animals possessed by Jacob’s tribe, they readily agreed, and underwent circumcision.

                          

          Three days later, when they were in pain, two of Jacob’s sons, Simeon and Levi attacked and killed every male, saved Dinah and took everything, including women and children, as plunder. (Genesis 34: 1-29).

Biological Warfare: Don’t you think it strange that just two of Jacob’s sons, probably along with a few of their men, were able to overpower and kill all of Shechem’s men, with hardly any resistance? Three days after a circumcision, no man is so incapacitated, that he is unable to fight for his life.

          This was because the Israelites used biological warfare in the form of infection producing germs! They understood cleanliness because they were told to dig a hole when they had to defecate, and then cover the excreta and not leave it exposed. (Deuteronomy 23: 12-14).   Circumcision was practiced routinely from the time of Abraham, and they knew the precautions they had to take to keep the wound clean and healthy.

                                   

          Shechem’s tribe was unaccustomed to undergo circumcision. Therefore they must have asked the Israelites to help with the procedure. And Jacob’s men conducted the circumcisions themselves, but infected the wound. The result: the wound got infected, resulting in severe pain and pus formation.

           The inguinal glands situated in the groin swelled considerably, making movement very painful, or even impossible. Some would develop septicemia: high fever, chills, nausea, vomiting and total incapacitation!

          The resultant battle was a walkover!

THE RESTORATION OF JOB, THE PARALYTIC & ADAM

HEALING IN THE SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY

JOB: healing in the soul.

         He lost everything – his sons and daughters, his health, wealth and happiness, as well as his self respect.

              And God restored everything back to him twofold! (Job. 42: 12-15).

          But the real restoration and healing were in the soul realm: in his intellect, his will and in his emotions.

          He did not miss the children he had lost, and was one with his wife, who had mocked him during the entire period of his trial, even going to the extent of telling him to curse God and die!

THE PARALYTIC: healing in the body.

          Lowered through the roof and, not only received a physical healing from Jesus, but a spiritual one as well, when the Lord told him that his sins were forgiven. (Mk, 2: 1-5).

ADAM: healing in the spirit.

          After the sin of Adam and Eve, anarchy broke loose, and animals killed each other. The Lord, Jesus, took the skins of slain animals and covered the naked couple. This bloody physical covering was symbolic of the spiritual covering by the blood of Jesus, which He would shed on the cross. And these animal sacrifices would be used throughout the Old Testament.

          There is total healing and restoration available for you and for whoever you want in Christ Jesus. Claim it right now!

SATAN DEFEATED (OCCULT PART v)

SATAN DEFEATED (OCCULT – PART V)

The kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness!

          The two kingdoms are at war with each other. God’s kingdom is the kingdom of light, as opposed to Satan’s kingdom, which is the kingdom of darkness. And therefore, any dealing with Satan’s kingdom (i.e. occult practices in any form), are totally unacceptable to God, and therefore forbidden by Him.

          If we scrumble to any temptation, urged on by greed for material gain, we will have to face the consequences of disease, death and banishment from God.

Therefore, God strongly warns:

          No sacrifice to demons. (Leviticus 17:7).

          No passing through fire [of Molech]. (Leviticus 18:21).

          No mediums or diviners amongst God’s people. (Leviticus19:31)

No making of graven images or idols. (Leviticus 26:1),

No worship of the sun or of the moon. (Deuteronomy 4:25),

No tolerating fortune tellers or magicians. (Deuteronomy 18:12-12),

No making of images to be put into secret places. (Deuteronomy27:15),

No communicating with the dead. (Isaiah 65:4),

This is because God will not share His glory with idols. (Isaiah 42:8).

HOW RIDICULOUS IS IDOL WORSHIP!

          ‘And no one considers in his mind, nor has he knowledge and understanding [enough] to say [to himself], I have burnt part of this log in the fire, and also I have baked bread on its coals and have roasted meat and eaten it. And shall I make the remainder of it into an abomination [the very essence of what is disgusting, detestable and shamefully vile in the eyes of a jealous God]? Shall I fall down and worship the stock of a tree [a block of wood without consciousness or life]?’

Dire consequences of idol worship: Those involved in such practices will perish, will be utterly destroyed. (Deuteronomy 4:26).

          If idol-worshippers are not driven away, they will be a continuous thorn in one’s side, and God’s wrath, which has been reserved for idol-worshippers, will be theirs. (Numbers 33:55, 56).

Consequences when Israel’s kings who dabbled in the occult!

King Jeroboam: (1Kings. 12:28-13:33).

          The king has two golden calves made, and the people worshipped them, and sinned. The Lord gives a sign of His anger: altar is split and the ashes are poured out. The king’s hand, which was pointed to the prophet (to have him captured), dries up. The king asks the man of God to intercede for him. God hears the man and the king’s hand is restored. King sins by making high places (for idol worship). King’s dynasty abolished and destroyed.

King Ahaziah: (2Kings. 1:2-4).

          The king falls and injures himself. In order to know whether he will recover from his illness, sends messengers to ask of Bal-Zebub, the god of the unbelieving Philistines. The prophet Elijah challenges the messengers, and prophesies that king Ahaziah will not recover but die.

God loathes the occult! (Because the occult causes our destruction. And God loves us.)

Idol worshippers were so dangerous, that God orders his people to:

Destroy the idols. (Numbers 33:52).

Destroy the altars used in idol worship. (Deuteronomy 7: 1, 2, 5).

The idol worshippers were stoned to death. (Deuteronomy 17: 2-7).

His prophets not to prophesy to idol worshippers. (Ezek. 14: 9, 10).

GOD’S POWER OVER THE OCCULT:

1) God makes Solomon wise: This wisdom was not just worldly wisdom, because it was said that: ‘Solomon’s wisdom exceeded the wisdom of all the people of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt.’ (1Kings.4:3).

2) Battle between the prophets of God and the false prophets:

          False prophets had led the Israelites astray. And so, instead of worshiping the true God, Jehovah, worshiped the false god Baal!

          Elijah asked the people for two bulls. He then allowed the prophets of Baal, to choose one, and offer it up as a sacrifice. Elijah too would do the same, but neither camp was allowed to put fire to their offering.

          The prophets of Baal offered their bull as a sacrifice. And, although they cried out to their god, even cutting themselves until the blood flowed, nothing happened.

          That same evening, Elijah slaughtered his bull and offered it up on the altar. He even put water on the sacrifice until it overflowed into the surrounding trench. Then Elijah called to the Lord. And the Lord answered.

          The fire of the lord fell and consumed the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the water.

          ‘…………when the people saw it, they fell on their faces and, the Lord, He is God! (1Kings.18:23-39).

          And all the false prophets were slaughtered. (1Kings. 18:40).

3) When Moses and Aaron were in front of pharaoh, the serpents of the former two devoured the serpent of pharaoh, showing a spiritual power and superiority over that of Pharaoh.

VICTORY OVER THE FORCES OF DARKNESS:

           The battle was fought and won for us on the cross, by our Lord Jesus Christ, two thousand years ago. And so we do not have to battle him, but only his lies. And we do so by standing firmly on the truth- the Bible!

OUR WEAPONS:

           ‘For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we leas every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ [the Messiah, the Anointed One].’ (2Cor. 10:3-5)- New paraphrased Bible.

OUR ARMOUR: Lord Jesus Christ is our armour! So we put on:

Helmet of salvation: we are saved and nothing can change that!

Breast plate of righteousness: we are righteous because of Christ.

Girdle of truth: for every temptation and attack from Satan, counter it with God’s Word  - Bible Scripture.

Footwear of peace: peace because we are firmly in Christ and nothing can take away our salvation.

The shield of faith: be confident of God’s Word.

The sword, the word of God: deflect Satan’s word, and counter attack with God’s Word.

PRECAUTIONS:

Do not give the devil a foothold. (Ephesians 4:27).

Have no fellowship with darkness. (Ephesians 5:11, 12).

Do not sin: The secret: know God- no sin (1John 3:6, 9).

LORD JESUS CONDUCTED DELIVERANCE! AND SO CAN WE!

          There are numerous examples of demon possessed people being delivered by Jesus. (Mathew 8:29). (Luke.4:34), (James 2:19), (Luke 4:33,35,36) (Luke 6:18).

POWER GIVEN BY JESUS TO US:

          ‘And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe; in My name they will drive out demons……..’ (Mark 16:17).

          ‘And seeing signs and miracles of great power, which was being performed, he was utterly amazed’. (Acts 8:13).

          ‘And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet’. (Romans 16:20).

PRAYER & FASTING:

           Fasting keeps you mentally alert. It’s also a way to humble yourself before God. Prayer and regular Bible reading builds up your faith and keeps you in tune with God.

A SLIGHTLY MISUNDERSTOOD SCRIPTURE!

          Lord Jesus had taken with Him Peter, John and James, leaving the remaining nine disciples behind.

           After His transfiguration on the mount, when they returned, a man brings his son, who was possessed by an evil spirit to Jesus, so that he could be healed. The boy’s father complained to Jesus that His nine disciples were unable to successfully deliver the boy from the evil spirit.

          Jesus successfully delivers the boy why they were unable to do the same.

          Jesus: ‘And He replied to them, This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer and fasting.’ (Mark 9:29).

          Prayer and fasting are essential. But your mental attitude is of greater importance! Because prayer and fasting are conducted essentially to become like minded with Christ.

          Jesus had taken three of His disciples with Him, leaving the remaining nine behind. And it is these nine who couldn’t conduct the deliverance, because their minds were disturbed.

PRAYER OF DELIVERANCE: (To be said aloud).

          In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the power of His precious Blood, I take spiritual authority over you Satan and all your demonic forces of (name them: fear, depression, illness, disease, death, cancer, AIDS etc.), and bind them in the bonds of the Holy Spirit and cast them off, sending them to the feet of Jesus, never to return, declaring Jesus as the Lord of …………’

PRAYER AGAINST HARASSMENT:

          Evil spirits can harass you through other persons, animals, insects or through inanimate objects. (It is said aloud).

          In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit I command you (name them) to cease your activity against me right now.

SATAN-GIVE NO FOOTHOLD (OCCULT – PART IV)

          People use Satan and his kingdom for personal gain, not realizing that they have much more to lose in the future.

Reason behind divination/fortune telling:

          There are psychics who are able to foretell the future. They also have the ability to uncover hidden secrets. These people do not have any mental power or faculty to achieve this. They do so because of the demonic spirits that speak into their minds and give them the necessary information.

          We see this clearly illustrated when Paul and Silas were in Philippi, a city in Macedonia. There was a slave girl who was possessed by the spirit of divination, because of which she was able to foretell the future, and thereby earn a lot of money for her owners. But when Paul ordered the spirit within her, in the name of Jesus Christ, to come out of her, it obeyed. And she lost her power. (Acts 16:6-9).

COMMUNICATING WITH THE DEAD:

          When some people lose a loved one, they go to a medium with the intention of communicating with the dead person. And sometimes they succeed. The dead person appears and even speaks to them.

          In reality, it is actually a demon who appears in the guise of the dead person, partly to tell the mourner what he wants to hear, and partly to tell him what the demon wants to tell the person, since his confidence has already been won.

APPARITIONS: From time to time, great men and women of the Bible have appeared to people as ‘apparitions’. These apparitions of ‘saints’ are nothing but a hoax of Satan and his demons. The reason for this subterfuge? Simple! The main focus of Satan is to turn our worship away from God and onto himself. When people pray to the ‘saints’ who appear in these apparitions, Satan succeeds in what he wants to achieve.

 HEALING OBTAINED BY PRAYING TO IDOLS:

          Down through the ages, millions of people around the world have received healing and obtained favors, as a result of praying to idols.

          Satan and his demons, (and not God), are the cause of accidents, misfortunes, disease, calamity and death. And since Satan can bring about these problems, he can just as easily take them away and bring about a healing. The result – people’s faith in these idols is all the more re-enforced. And the focus and worship is shifted away from the true God, Jesus Christ!

          But why would God allow this? Because we are endowed with a free will. If these people, instead, turn to Lord Jesus and develop a relationship with Him, they will not only receive a spiritual healing, but an emotional as well as a physical healing as well.

ROOT CAUSE OF IDOL WORSHIP:

 

          Deep down, the motive that drives men to idol worship, is self will and non-submissiveness (Ezekiel 14:4), and this brings about an estrangement from God (Ezekiel 14:5).
