SEX DURING PERIODS

Every woman should have this motto:

When I’m in the red,

No romping in bed.

          When I asked several non-Christian doctors, especially gynecologists, about sex during periods, I was shocked to learn that they strongly advocate this practice, especially in unwed couples, because, as per them, the girl was safe from pregnancy and 'wouldn’t get into trouble'.

          But when I told them that the Bible specifically forbade this practice, they said it was probably for hygienic purposes.

          Sex during periods could lead to conception, abortion and thereby, death of the baby!

          How?! The ovum (female egg) is definitely present in the uterus. And the sperms that are present in the ejaculated semen of the male, could fertilize the ovum, thereby resulting in the formation of a new life.

           And since the ovum is being expelled, as it is normally supposed to happen during a period, this newly formed child, whether a few seconds old, a few days old or fully developed after nine months in the womb, is prematurely being expelled as it happens during an abortion.

         

                                   

BIBLICAL STAND: God speaks through His prophet in the Book of Leviticus (18:19). “Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period.”

          And this is definitely not for hygienic purposes, because in Leviticus (20:18), it goes on to say:

          “If a man lies with a woman during her monthly period and has sexual relations with her……… Both of them must be cut off from their people.”

          ‘Cut off’ means both being stoned to death! Not a punishment for failing to meet God’s hygienic standards.

          If you are a committed Christian who has inadvertently committed this sin of ‘sex during periods’, then you should repent of it and resolve never to do it again.

          I have used the word ‘inadvertently’ because you probably didn’t realize that it was a sin. 
         No matter! You are still guilty of committing murder!

                                                                    

 

          In Leviticus, Chapter 4, verse 1 onwards, the Lord says: ‘When any one sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands…………..he must bring a sin offering for the sin he has committed,’ 

Please note: there are tablets available which, if taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex, ‘prevents’ pregnancy.
         What actually happens is that the fertilized ovum (i.e. the baby) is aborted. In God’s eyes, its murder!
